Alpecin-Premier Tech, Fenix-Premier Tech and their development teams confirm the extension of their partnership with Škoda Belgium. Following a successful collaboration over the past two seasons, the agreement has been renewed for an additional three years, running through to the end of 2028.
Over recent seasons, Škoda has proven to be a clear added value in the day-to-day operations of the teams. The spacious, comfortable and reliable vehicles enable athletes and staff to travel efficiently during races and training camps, in all conditions. From wet cobblestones during a rain-soaked Paris-Roubaix to extreme heat in the mountains of the Tour de France, the Škoda fleet has delivered consistent performance throughout.
Safety and efficiency are central to the partnership. The entire fleet consists of automatic vehicles. Škoda Superb Combi models were deliberately selected for the sports directors’ cars, offering additional space and power, allowing them to stay fully focused on the race and respond quickly when required. Sixteen vehicles are equipped with radio communication, while twenty feature roof-mounted bike racks.
As part of the partnership, Škoda Belgium will provide the teams with a total of 35 vehicles over the next three seasons:
• 22 Škoda Superb Combi
• 8 Škoda Octavia Combi
• 5 Škoda Kamiq
Team manager Philip Roodhooft highlights the mutual nature of the collaboration: “We have been extremely satisfied with our cooperation with Škoda over the past two years. The vehicles are an important support in the daily operations of our teams, and we greatly appreciate the renewed confidence that Škoda places in us.
While Škoda strengthens our teams with reliable and high-performing vehicles, we, in turn, have the ambition not only to win races and race in an attractive way, but also to help strengthen the Škoda brand. We want to support our partner and contribute, in our own way, to the further development of the brand. Extending this partnership for three additional seasons confirms a collaboration built on mutual trust and shared ambitions.”
With this extension, Alpecin-Premier Tech and Fenix-Premier Tech reaffirm their sporting ambitions and their role as challengers within the international peloton, while continuing their cooperation with a strong and reliable partner for the seasons ahead.
